Obama and McCain at Ground Zero

Malkin mentions that Obama flings the rose while McCain gently places his rose, but I don't want to nitpick about that. But I thought it was interesting to see how McCain interacted with the men in uniforms and how Obama did. McCain seemed to have much more rapport and seemed more comfortable with the situation.

Also, where was Michelle Obama? I heard reports that she was at home with her daughters, but after her comment, "This is the first time I've been proud to be an American," it seems like it would have been a good idea for her to be at Ground Zero. Interesting.
